Tony Valera founded Mavco Deconstruction in 2004 and has spent more than two decades building the company into one of the Bay Area's most respected demolition and deconstruction contractors.
His background spans the full construction stack - excavation, trenching, concrete, foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, cabinets, landscape, and hardscape - which is why Mavco can scope, sequence, and execute teardowns that less experienced demo crews can't safely handle.
Tony's particular focus is eco-friendly deconstruction: hand-dismantling structures so that lumber, fixtures, and finishes can be donated to non-profit partners, kept out of the landfill, and turned into a substantial tax-deductible donation for the homeowner.
He works directly with every client, from the first walk-through to the final clean-up.
